Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clearance Specialist to support
Specialty Infusion Pharmacy needs.
Key Responsibilities
Process new referrals, including verifying patient eligibility and
coordinating benefits
Prepare, submit, and follow up on payer authorization requests
Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral
status and coverage updates
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical
intake/reimbursement experience preferred
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care
reimbursement guidelines
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel & Word
