Volt is hiring for a Machine Programmer in La Verne, CA.
As a Machine Programmer you will:
Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased
efficiency
Reviews 3-D CAD design blueprints
Makes calculations for programing including where materials should
be cut
Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing
(CAM) program
Checks completed programs
Determines the sequence of operations in a program
Evaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and
ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the client
This is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am to 230pm
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
Proven programing experience
Must know how to read and understand blueprints
Excellent reading and comprehension skills
Good mathematical skills (basic, algebra etc.)
Problem solving
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour DOE
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
