The aspiring Manager of Neonatal Nursing Services will join a mission-driven community medical center located in Los Angeles with 400 designated beds and dedication to delivering high-quality patient care. The hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides specialized, state-of-the-art care for premature and critically ill newborns, supported by advanced technology and a highly skilled team of healthcare professionals. The Nursing Manager Neonatal Services will report directly to the Director of Women's and Children's Services, ensuring alignment with the hospital's strategic vision for neonatal care. This role leads a dedicated team of NICU nurses and support staff, fostering collaboration and excellence in patient care. Working closely with neonatologists, pediatric specialists, and multidisciplinary teams, the Manager of Neonatal Nursing Services will play a pivotal role in shaping a supportive, high-performing environment where every newborn receives exceptional care.
The NICU unit at the hospital features 20 specialized beds, supporting the care of critically ill newborns with a dedicated team of over 50 FTEs, including neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, and support staff. Known for its fast-paced and highly professional environment, the unit collaborates closely with top neonatologists, pediatric specialists, and advanced medical technologies to provide exceptional, family-focused care. The Manager of Neonatal Nursing Services will work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to delivering the highest standard of neonatal healthcare.
The Manager of Neonatal Nursing Services will lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional care through education development, mentoring, and ensuring the highest clinical competencies and quality standards.
