Location: Los Angeles, CA or Nashville, TN

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking Tax Managers for a leading financial services firm. This role will oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting while ensuring adherence to financial and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong tax background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in business management or the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review complex tax returns (Corporations, S-Corps, Partnerships, Individuals, Exempt Organizations)
Assist in quality control review of tax filings
Oversee quarterly tax projections and estimated tax payments
Assist with international tax compliance and reporting
Manage year-end shareholder bonus process
Maintain compliance with tax reporting policies and procedures
Supervise Tax Staff, assign tasks, and track project completion
Facilitate tax audits, tax notices, and correspondence
Oversee entity creation, dissolution, and tax compliance
Provide tax software support and assist in client invoicing

Requirements:

7+ years of tax experience (preferably in a business management firm or the entertainment industry)
Active CPA License required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and tax software
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
Ability to commute to the office as needed
