About the role
The Clinical Director will work collaboratively with the Program
Director to ensure the Program Quality and Compliance of the center
in a manner which is consistent with the organization's
philosophies and culture.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Certificates & Licenses Required: LCSW, LMFT, and/or LPCC. Minimum
2 years of experience. An ACSW, AMFT and/or APCC is NOT acceptable,
must be "LICENSED".
Education: A master's degree required. PsyD or Ph.D. a plus!
Experience: Minimum of two years' experience as a licensed
therapist in the addiction and/or mental health field or equivalent
human services. Experience as Lead Therapist with supervisory
experience preferred. Experience in dual diagnosis a plus.
Valid driver's license.
Skills: Computer literacy in Microsoft office; proficiency in KIPU
Systems client management software.
Negative TB test within the past 12 months.
Ability to pass pre-employment and/or random drug screenings
Compensation is based on experience and credential:
Salary Range $85,000 - $105,000 annually
Program Quality
Evaluate and review effectiveness of program, services, and group
therapy designs.
Maintain a culture of care conducive for maximum benefit of clients
and staff.
Plan and implement new programs and clinical services with the
senior management team.
Evaluate client data to coordinate treatment services by auditing
all clinical chart documentation, providing supervision sessions,
and running weekly treatment meetings.
Positively interact and develop rapport with clients and their
families, providing family services as needed.
Develop systems and methodologies for continuous improvement of
group and individual treatment modalities.
Coordinating with physicians in identifying treatment needs for all
patients and approving all client treatment plans.
Compliance
Demonstrate compliance with all appropriate professional standards,
licensing, and certifications
Ensure the Center's services are compliant with HIPPA, JCAHO, and
the state.
Work with admissions team to identify the treatment track which is
most appropriate for each individual client.
Regularly ensure compliance with industry, local, and state
agencies.
Uphold and enforce the center's standards, policies, procedures,
client rights, and our professional code of ethics and conduct.
Oversee, manage, and audit documentation of therapists.
Work alongside the Program Director to review and revise the center
policies and procedures as needed.
Leadership
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with the
Program Director. Together, maintaining a supportive environment
with subordinate staff, supervisors, utilization reviews, managed
health care clinicians, and medical and mental health
professionals.
Together with the Program Director, be responsible for recruiting,
retaining, evaluating, training, and disciplining clinical
department staff.
Monitor client population and clinical assignments to make sure
workloads are reasonable.
Ensures continuity of client care via knowledge of treatment
modalities and the Southern California recovery community. Working
with families and other treatment facilities to provide appropriate
continuity of care.
Co-manage clinical staff regarding screening, assessment,
individualized treatment planning, crisis intervention, group and
individual counseling, case management, referral, discharge
summaries, clinical documentation, and professional ethics.
The pay range for this role is:
85,000 - 105,000 USD per year(The Forge Recovery Center (SUD))
