Sr. Accountant *Global Hi-Tech Manf. Japan/USA $70-75k/y

Global Manufacturer is urgently seeking for the Sr. Accountant position for their Torrance, CA HQ Office

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting degree with a minimum 3+ years', or equivalent experience
Bilingual in English and Japanese is a huge plus, but not required.
Working under supervision of the accounting manager & controller, provide financial analytical assistance and oversight to accounting functions.
Reconciliation of sub-Ledgers and general Ledger account balances for Inventory, A/R, A/P, etc.
Monthly close of financial records.
Quarterly audits/review if any and annual audits including SOX.
Prepare reports on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis including support in the preparation of consolidation package.
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Strong written, verbal and listening skills and team worker
Proficiency in PC skills especially Excel & software (ERP), Sage500 is a big plus.

This is a full-time, direct hire position with excellent corporate level benefits including medical (100% cover), dental, vision 401k (with matching) etc. Salary up to $70-75k/y (some possible generous yearly bonus)
